TVCM and CGPCPOL Invite Ping-Shan Elementary Choir to Year-End Banquet

Taiwan VCM Corp.(TVCM) and CGPCPOL(subsidiaries of CGPC) are committed to preserving Indigenous culture and supporting social welfare. As part of this effort, they specially invited the Ping-Shan Elementary School Indigenous Folk Song Choir from Kaohsiung, to perform at the 2024 year-end banquet on January 9. Among the school's 300 students, one-fifth are Indigenous, making it a rare urban Indigenous community. To help students connect with their heritage, the school established the Indigenous Folk Song Choir, allowing them to learn and appreciate their traditional culture.

In 2024, the choir won the "Superior Award" in an Indigenous music competition, demonstrating the children's dedication and musical talent. During the year-end banquet, students performed “Let’s Sing and Praise Together” with their clear, harmonious voices, accompanied by rhythmic mortar-and-pestle percussion. The heartfelt performance conveyed gratitude and blessings to all our employees, wishing everyone a prosperous year ahead.

Ping-Shan Elementary School presented a Certificate of Appreciation to TVCM and CGPCPOL to our practical support for Indigenous cultural education. This event became a meaningful occasion filled with cultural exchange and gratitude.
