CGPC follows the sustainability vision and goals of the USI Group. It aims to foster inclusive, respectful, and harmonious relationships among people, the environment, and society, with a focus on human-centered social welfare. CGPC is committed to social welfare, leveraging its core competency in plastics manufacturing. Its efforts revolve around environmental protection, community building and welfare, and education and activities.
We strives to consolidate internal and external resources to promote local environmental protection activities, aiming to reduce the damage to ecosystems caused by marine plastic waste. Additionally, it engages in community building by cleaning the surrounding areas of local factories and maintaining street lighting equipment, among other initiatives. We also supports educational platforms and provides digital education resources to nearby schools as part of its commitment to education welfare. These efforts align with the USI Group's vision and goals of creating a sustainable society through the creation of sustainable value.

Environmental protection

CGPC actively responds to environmental protection by voluntarily adopting Longfeng Fish Harbor and Dong-Hsing Bridge Wetland.

Beach clean-up
Since 2017, CGPC Main Plant has supported the Miaoli County Government's marine environmental protection initiative by adopting a 500-meter stretch of beach at Longfeng Fishing Harbor in Zhunan Township and continuously conducting beach cleanup activities.
As of 2024, this effort has mobilized over 1,200 personnel and removed over 4,100 kilograms of waste.
In 2024, the plant also participated in the "Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli Autumn Joint Beach Cleanup," demonstrating its commitment to protecting the marine ecosystem.

Education and activities

Our company is committed to engaging in educational public welfare projects, focusing on issues concerning disadvantaged groups, remote areas, and environmental ecology. We continuously strengthen our service capabilities and actively give back to society.

USI Education Foundation

- Junyi School – Fulfill rural education idea

- Teach for Taiwan Education Foundation: Trains young people to teach in remote rural areas for two years to alleviate teacher shortages, improve academic ability, and cultivate self-management and perseverance skills.

- Boyu Social Welfare Foundation: Provides free tutoring and teaching materials, combined with social work care, to help disadvantaged children in remote areas become self-reliant and escape poverty.

- Toufen Junior High School Music Project: Integrating with the Shan Geng 365 Music Education Project, we encourage children to sing happily because of their love for music.

- Medical and health education public welfare activities: promote basic health knowledge and health education concepts, and promote the physical and mental health of community residents.
