Highlights

Soil and groundwater remediation technology

GGTC Company (a sub-subsidiary of CGPC) actively sought the best treatment technology, established a dedicated department, hired domestic master's and doctoral professionals, established an environmental molecular biology laboratory, and launched a series of soil and groundwater remediation experiments. We have developed "Integrated Green Remediation Technology", an innovative construction method that combines physics, chemistry, and biology, as well as human health risk assessment results as the basis for site management, in addition to reviewing relevant overseas models and making rolling adjustments. After introducing "Integrated Green Remediation Technology", the list of polluted sites has been successfully delisted. In 2016, Sinopec Kaohsiung Sinopec's Qianzhen Plant (formerly Taiwan Chlorine Kaohsiung Plant) was delisted from the control sites, and in 2017, CGPC Toufen Plant was delisted as a remediation site. The Company received the first "Certificate of Technology Applied in Delisted Soil and Groundwater Contamination Site" in 2021 from the Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan, ROC (Taiwan). The second delist certificate was obtained in 2022: The "Certificate of Technology Applied in Soil and Groundwater Contamination Site" from the Environmental Protection Bureau Kaohsiung City Government. In the future, we will continue to develop environmentally friendly soil and water pollution remediation technologies and hope to gradually complete the remediation of the contaminated sites in Taiwan based on successful past experience. This way, we can restore soil health, ensure the cleanliness of groundwater sources, and improve the development of the ecological system.

Obtained the second delist certificate in 2022.
The Ministry of Environment recognized the remediation technology of TVCM’s Environmental Development Department GGTC (currently known as GGTC Company), a subsidiary of CGPC.
