New products are defined as those within 2 years of the successful development.
Note 2:
Reason for not achieving the TPE target: Due to rising prices of imported raw materials and shrinking market demand, consumers remain cautious about eco-friendly materials, making it difficult to break through current barriers in promoting and selling such products.
Quality management cycle
CGPC has established standardized operations for quality control, from incoming materials, manufacturing process, finished products and inspection. They all comply with the ISO 9001 quality management requirements, and the automotive PVC leather also meet the requirements of the IATF 16949 management system. Both maintenance or improvement activities must follow the PDCA cycle and we need to find stability during the cycle for growth. If there are discrepancies from the operating standards, we revise the activities to make them comply with the standards. The application of PDCA helps us in review the handling of issues, while making continuous quality improvements in processing requirements, uses, etc. Based on various regulatory requirements (such as REACH, RoHS, control of types of plasticizers, etc.), develop and manufacture products meeting customer needs, and create product contributions and value.
PDCA Management Cycle

Improve proposal activities
In 2024, a total of 44 quality improvement proposals were submitted, and the derived benefits reached NT$6.09million. In 2024, the actual number of cases and benefits were both higher than those in 2023, and the actual number of quality cases was still higher than the set target value. CGPC sets the target every year, with incentives to encourage employees to actively participate in submitting proposals.

♻ Circular Economy × Low-Carbon R&D:Natural Shrimp Shell Powder Replaces Chemical Antimicrobial Agents
Solution Highlights
CGPC has developed a low-carbon antimicrobial product using natural shrimp shell powder, replacing synthetic antimicrobial agents. Made from discarded shrimp shells, the product is ground at high temperatures and applied to artificial leather. The product possesses antibacterial and mildew-resistant properties and has passed ASTM G21 and JIS Z-2801 testing. This effectively reduces environmental impact and pollution, serving as an example of a circular economy application.
Innovation and Efficiency
We combine natural ingredients with diverse antimicrobial formulas to develop new green antimicrobial products. By capitalizing on market trends, we reduce waste generation and environmental impact, enhance product value and enhance our corporate image, demonstrating our commitment to sustainable development, R&D innovation, and ESG.
🌡Responding to climate change × Cooling material innovation:Developing "IPP Chroma cool”
Solution Highlights
For extreme heat, we've developed a new "Chroma cool" for use in motorcycle seats and outdoor sports equipment. Compared to traditional products, this product's surface temperature can be reduced by approximately 10-20°C, enhancing comfort during outdoor activities and offering cooling and energy-saving potential.
Innovation and Efficiency
Cumulative sales have exceeded 110,000 yards (2021-2023), and the market response has been enthusiastic, resulting in a patent (patent number: M631078). With climate change and the trend of outdoor leisure, market demand is expected to continue to grow, and application functions can be expanded.
The Group promote sustainable packaging material strategies and verification plans by 2025.
1、
Under the premise of maintaining product quality, the Group actively promotes packaging reduction through the following measures:
Replacing single-use paper cores with recyclable plastic cores: Group-produced recyclable plastic cores are used to replace externally purchased single-use paper cores, significantly reducing waste and increasing packaging material reuse rates.
Carton-free packaging: New carton-free packaging solutions are introduced to reduce paper box usage and waste.
2、
Benefits:
Reduces storage space and labor required for handling discarded packaging materials, and lowers transportation carbon footprint.
Decreases packaging costs, eliminates the need for unpacking, and reduces occupational safety risks.
CGPC uses recycled pellets to produce plastic cores, which can be reused multiple times and recycled again, achieving source reduction.
3、
Sustainability Planning by the Group and CGPC Building Materials Plant:
Innovative product applications within the Group: Waste information is integrated to promote recycling and reuse, thereby increasing the value of new products.
CGPC Construction Manufacturing Department: In July 2025, the department initiated the ISO 14021 verification for recycled material content (PVC-U pipesUPVC for electric conduit use for electric conduit use) and will begin carbon footprint calculation to support customers in achieving their green building material procurement goals.
CGPC, a leader in green construction materials |completes ISO 14021 "recycled material content certification" for PCR recycled materials.

Practicing sustainability through action and setting a new benchmark for low-carbon transformation
In response to the global trend toward a circular economy and low-carbon procurement, China Gulf is actively investing in sustainable upgrades for its building materials products. By incorporating PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) materials into the manufacturing processes of its PVC rigid pipes and electrical conduit for wire and cable, the company aims to achieve ISO 14021 certification for recycled content by July 2025.
This is not only a product innovation, but also a concrete commitment of the company to sustainable operations and low-carbon transformation, allowing building materials products to contribute to carbon reduction in the environment.

The only PCR certified product in the group, leading the market
This certified product is the only PCR recycled material pipe product within the Group to have achieved ISO 14021 “Recycled Material Content Certification.” PCR recycled material (post-consumer recycled) refers to materials recycled from the consumer end of life back into product raw materials, extending the material lifecycle, reducing disposable resource consumption, and practicing a true circular economy.
Our commitment:
Uncompromising quality, uncompromising standards – Complying with CNS national standards
Enhancing environmental protection, ensuring peace of mind – International third-party verification
Sharing success with partners and the environment – Continuously practicing corporate sustainability

🔄 Supply chain transparency, checking every detail from the source
Compared to post-industrial recycled (PIR) materials, PCR recycled materials require stricter supply chain management, requiring collection, sorting, reprocessing, and traceability from the consumer end.
CGPC works with upstream raw material suppliers to conduct simultaneous audits and inspections to ensure the clear and traceable origins of each batch of materials, establishing a comprehensive supply chain transparency mechanism. This is a concrete act of corporate sustainability responsibility and a source of market trust.

🚀 New market advantage: creating differentiated ESG competitiveness
CGPC's PCR recycled material pipe products are the first in the industry to complete certification, becoming one of the few products in the building materials market that truly have **dual standard verification (CNS+ISO 14021)**.
Four Market Advantages:
First in its market to achieve ISO 14021 "Recycled Material Content Certification"
Meeting the ESG procurement needs of corporate and government tenders, helping clients enhance their sustainability performance
Strengthening competitive advantage in engineering tenders and direct sales, creating greater market visibility
Actively expanding the market, increasing exposure and purchasing interest for certified sustainability products, and promoting green building materials as a mainstream choice.

🌍 Join hands with partners to move towards a new era of circular economy
CGPC will continue to promote annual supplier audits and sustainable supply chain management, assisting partners in introducing ISO management systems and quality control mechanisms, allowing more products to move towards a circular economy and carbon reduction processes, and working together to create a better green future.
