CGPC Main Plant Recombination Slot replace Project hoisting completed, accelerating environmental upgrade

CGPC is investing approximately NT$4.5 billion to replace the recombination slots and peripheral equipment at its CGPC Main Plant, aiming to enhance production safety, expand capacity, and meet environmental standards. The core of this project is the introduction of next-generation process technology, installing five 130 M3 internal jacketed recombination slots and related equipment, with its importance and complexity akin to performing a "Heart Transplant."


The new technologies are expected to effectively reduce energy consumption and VOCs emissions under optimal production after the equipment is replaced. On March 25, 2025, the initial hoisting of the five recombination tanks was completed, marking that the project is about to enter a critical phase and establishing a significant milestone for this major investment.


CGPC will continue to make every effort to ensure the project is completed on schedule, achieving dual benefits of production capacity and environmental protection, laying a solid foundation for the company's future development.
