CGPC Main Plant Receives Joint Chemical Substance Counseling to Strengthen Management Toward Zero Incidents

To enhance the self-management capacity of toxic and concern chemical substances and reduce the risks of complex disasters, the Environmental Protection Administration's Chemical Substance Management Department (CSMD) has initiated a cross-agency joint counseling and supervision mechanism to strengthen hazard prevention and disaster reduction measures in factories.

The counseling activities were carried out at CGPC's Main Plant, with a joint inspection team consisting of the Central Occupational Safety and Health Center, the Environmental Incident Technical Expert Group, the Miaoli County Environmental Protection Bureau, the Fire Department, the Industrial Park Service Center of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the experts and Industry specialists. The team conducted on-site inspections and counseling. The inspection focused on key areas such as occupational safety, environmental protection, and fire management. After comprehensive evaluation, it was confirmed that CGPC’s operations and management procedures comply with relevant regulations, and continuous improvement suggestions were proposed to further strengthen overall management effectiveness.

This initiative not only enhances CGPC’s chemical management capabilities but also strengthens risk control, advancing toward the company’s sustainable goal of “zero pollution, zero incidents.”
