CGPC Main Plant joint Rescue Drill with the 3rd Fire Control and Rescue Group of Miaoli County

On August 20, 2025, CGPC Main Plant conducted a self-defense firefighting team training exercise, in collaboration with the 3rd Fire Control and Rescue Group, the group command, Toufen Branch, Sanwan Branch and Nanzhuang Branch. The exercise, held at the plant’s warehouse facility, was designed as an unscripted live drill to comprehensively strengthen the site’s emergency response capabilities and operational resilience.

Given the flammable, explosive, corrosive and toxic characteristics of chemical substances, the drill simulated a high-risk chemical disaster scenario. Key elements included:

Triple-layered safety control and zonal command,
Firefighter Rehabilitation system (REHAB)【Note 1】,
Application of the inter-ministerial Chemical Substance Information Platform,
Firefighter emergency response (Mayday), and
Rapid Intervention Team (RIT)【Note 2】 entry rescue.

Through cooperation with firefighting units and the full participation of its self-defense firefighting team, CGPC not only tested and enhanced its existing response plans but also strengthened employees’ on-site responsiveness and safety awareness. The Company will continue to uphold its “Safety First” management philosophy, integrate ESG into its core operations, and reduce the potential impacts of disasters on personnel, the environment, and business continuity.
