TVCM (Taiwan VCM Corporation) actively participated in the Smart Petrochemical Safety Enhancement Subsidy Program promoted by the Industrial Development Administration (IDA), Ministry of Economic Affairs. The company successfully established the Process Safety Management (PSM) Digitalized Management System integrated with multiple Intelligent technologies, significantly enhancing process safety and intelligent management efficiency.
The program, organized by the IDA and implemented by the China Productivity Center (CPC), aims to assist petrochemical and chemical material industries in adoption of intelligent safety application technologies to improve overall safety management for personnel, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
The implementation results include:
- 10 PSM Management Modules: Contractor Management, Hot Work Permit, Incident Investigation, Emergency Response, Standard Operating Procedure, Mechanical Integrity, Compliance Audit, Pre-Startup Safety Review, Training, and Change Management.
- 6 Intelligent Technologies: Smart Inspection, Gas Detection and Data Analysis, Human–Vehicle–Environment Image Recognition, Personnel Positioning, Plant Operation Management, and Equipment/Pipeline Monitoring.
- Deployment of a Situation Room: Establish a Real-Time monitoring system and a comprehensive intelligent Process Safety Management System.
During the review meeting, Mr. Chou Teng-Chun, Director of the Kaohsiung City Labor Affairs Bureau, commended the project achievements and encouraged enterprises to continue integrating smart and safety management. TVCM will continue to build upon this success, advancing smart manufacturing and digital safety management applications to further enhance process efficiency, workplace safety, and sustainable development.
