In 2025, the Industrial Development Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs promoted the “Smart Technology Implementation Program for Petrochemical Enterprises in the Linyuan Industrial Park.” CGPCP actively participated by implementing six major smart technology applications. Through digital transformation, the company effectively enhanced plant safety, production efficiency, and industrial competitiveness. All guidance outcomes were successfully achieved by the end of 2025, demonstrating CGPCP’s commitment to sustainable operations and the development of a smart factory.
To share the results and recognize outstanding enterprises, the Industrial Development Administration commissioned the Industrial Safety Association to host the “Smart Technology Exchange and Sharing Conference for Linyuan Industrial Park” on March 16, 2026, at the Kaohsiung Software Technology Park. The event was attended by officials from the Industrial Development Administration, representatives from the Kaohsiung Economic Development Bureau, and the Petrochemical Association. CGPCP, recognized for its outstanding performance in smart technology implementation, was honored alongside CPC Corporation and LCY Chemical with the “Smart Transformation Potential Award.” The award was received on behalf of CGPCP by General Plant Manager Mr. Tsai.
This recognition affirms CGPCP’s efforts in digital transformation. Looking ahead, we will continue to deepen the application of smart technologies, implement occupational disaster reduction policies, and move toward the goal of sustainable operations as a smart factory.
