CGPC Attends "Chemical Substance Inspection and Safety Management Seminar" to Strengthen Source Control and Digital Disaster Prevention

China General Plastics Corporation (CGPC) consistently prioritizes environmental safety and social trust as the fundamental pillars of our sustainable operations. In response to government policies and to reinforce our risk control mechanisms, CGPC participated in the "Seminar on Inspection, Labeling Management, and Disaster Prevention Mapping for Chemical Substances with Food Safety Risks," hosted by the Miaoli County Environmental Protection Bureau on March 23, 2026. This participation demonstrates our unwavering commitment to regulatory compliance and food safety risk management.

During the seminar, CGPC gained in-depth insights into the key points of source management for chemical substances with potential food safety risks. We continue to adhere to the spirit of "Source Control" under the national "Five Pillars of Food Safety" policy. This is achieved by implementing rigorous management practices, including segregated storage, clear labeling, purpose notification, and flow tracking, thereby strengthening our autonomous chemical management mechanism and minimizing potential risks.

Furthermore, the seminar featured an in-depth exchange on the "Chemical Substance Management and Toxic/Chemical Disaster Prevention Mapping System." By integrating GIS and AI technologies, this system facilitates the digitalization of site information, enhancing management transparency and disaster response efficiency. Looking ahead, CGPC will continue to refine chemical safety management and environmental governance, fulfilling our corporate social responsibility (CSR) to move toward a safe, secure, and sustainable future with society.
