CGPC and Its Subsidiaries Participate in the Global Earth Hour Lights-Off Campaign

CGPC and its subsidiaries (including the Taipei Tai-An Building) participated in the global Earth Hour lights-off campaign, the world’s largest voluntary environmental initiative. Launched by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in Sydney in 2007, Earth Hour encourages individuals and organizations worldwide to turn off non-essential lights, raising awareness of climate change and promoting energy conservation.

In 2026, Earth Hour was held on March 28 (Saturday) from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM. CGPC’s locations in Taipei, Toufen, and Linyuan simultaneously turned off exterior façade lighting and other non-essential lighting, demonstrating a concrete commitment to energy conservation and carbon reduction.

Since 2022, CGPC and its subsidiaries have participated in the Earth Hour campaign for five consecutive years, continuing to take practical actions to support environmental sustainability and reaffirm their commitment to addressing climate change.
