CGPC Invited to Cathay United Bank CDP Banking Program Award Ceremony;Honored with Best Climate Action Award

CGPC was invited to attend the “CDP Banking Program Award Ceremony” hosted by Cathay United Bank on April 23, 2026. The award was received on behalf of the company by Mr. Yung-Chih Chen, Chief Legal Officer and Head of Corporate Governance of the USI Group. CGPC was honored with the Best Climate Action Award in recognition of its outstanding performance in environmental disclosure and carbon management.


The event was held as part of Cathay United Bank’s Cathay One initiative, in collaboration with CDP, to support corporate clients in enhancing ESG disclosure and carbon management capabilities. In the 2025 CDP assessment, CGPC completed the questionnaire and achieved a Management level (B score), demonstrating a solid foundation in climate governance and sustainability disclosure practices.


CDP is a globally recognized platform for environmental disclosure, assessing corporate performance on climate-related issues through standardized questionnaires. Participation in this award ceremony reflects CGPC’s ongoing commitment to advancing sustainability management.


Looking ahead, CGPC will continue to strengthen its greenhouse gas management and sustainability disclosure practices, accelerate its low-carbon transition, and enhance its long-term sustainability competitiveness.
