To continuously strengthen the management of toxic and concerned chemical substances, public hazardous materials, and hazardous chemicals, and to enhance plants’ risk governance and disaster mitigation response capabilities, TVCM and CGPCP Linyuan Plant, on May 8, 2026, cooperated with the Chemical Administration of the Ministry of Environment and the Kaohsiung City Fire Department, together with the Toxic Substance Management Division of the Kaohsiung City Environmental Protection Bureau, the Labor Inspection Office, and the Economic Development Bureau, to jointly conduct the second-quarter 2026 Class A guidance for factories operating toxic and concerned chemical substances (including joint visits on hazardous chemicals) and the joint inspection of public hazardous materials.
This inspection focused on an in-depth review of toxic chemical substance management, public hazardous materials management, and the self-management mechanisms for chemicals within the plant. The scope of the inspection included current management practices, storage environments, and related safety management measures. Through the joint mechanism involving multiple government agencies and technical experts, the inspection aimed to assist the plant in continuously enhancing its self-management capacity for toxic and concerned chemical substances, while further strengthening plant safety governance and risk prevention mechanisms.
During the guidance and inspection process, the expert team expressed recognition of TVCM and CGPCP Linyuan Plants’ toxic chemical substance management, chemical management practices, and improvement achievements. In particular, positive feedback was given regarding the continued maintenance of previous improvement items and subsequent enhancement measures, demonstrating the Plants’ ongoing commitment to environmental, safety and health (ESH) management and risk control, as well as employees’ strong awareness and execution of occupational safety and ESH practices.
