CGPC Continues to Promote Green Procurement and Receives Recognition from the Ministry of Environment and Commendation from Taipei City

China General Plastics Corporation (CGPC) continues to advance its environmental sustainability practices by incorporating green procurement into its corporate strategy. By prioritizing products and services with eco-label certifications, the Company strengthens sustainable supply chain management and drives its transition toward low-carbon and sustainable development.

On May 11, 2026, CGPC participated in the “2025 Outstanding Green Procurement Enterprises Recognition Event” organized by the Department of Environmental Protection, Taipei City Government. With its annual green procurement amount exceeding NTD 5 million, the Company was listed among the recognized outstanding enterprises. The award was presented by Director Hsu, Shih-Hsun of the Department of Environmental Protection, and accepted on behalf of CGPC by Ms. Chen, Li-Nien, demonstrating the Company’s concrete achievements and execution capability in promoting green procurement.

In addition, in response to the Ministry of Environment’s revised green procurement recognition framework starting in 2026, which classifies enterprises by industry and scale and adopts a ranking-based selection mechanism, CGPC’s green procurement amount for 2024 (Year 113) exceeded NTD 50 million. However, as it was not ranked among the top 10 in the large manufacturing enterprise category, the Company was awarded an electronic certificate by the Ministry of Environment in recognition of its continued efforts in promoting green procurement.

Looking ahead, CGPC will continue to strengthen its ESG governance framework, deepen green procurement initiatives, integrate circular economy and low-carbon transition strategies, expand the impact of sustainable procurement, fulfill its corporate social responsibility, and advance toward its sustainable development goals.
