CGPC Low-Carbon Eco-friendly Recycled Tape Completes ISO 14021 Third-Party Verification of Recycled Content, Strengthening Low-Carbon Product Development

CGPC promotes low-carbon eco-friendly recycled tape Tape
CGPC has advanced the development of its low-carbon eco-friendly recycled tape by completing third-party verification of recycled content in accordance with ISO 14021, demonstrating steady progress in its low-carbon transition. In response to global trends toward net-zero emissions and a circular economy, CGPC continues to promote the application of sustainable materials. In April 2026, we successfully completed third-party verification of recycled content for its low-carbon eco-friendly recycled tape under ISO 14021, marking a significant milestone in low-carbon product development. This project represents the Company’s first eco-friendly recycled tape product to obtain ISO 14021 third-party verification.

This project incorporates recycled materials from manufacturing processes (pre-consumer recycled), with recycled content ranging from 20% to 30%. While ensuring product quality and process feasibility, the Company has successfully developed a practical low-carbon material solution, demonstrating tangible progress in product upgrading and sustainable development.

Steady Integration of Recycled Materials While Ensuring Quality and Applicability
The recycled materials used in the low-carbon eco-friendly recycled tape are sourced from internal process recovery, offering stable supply and consistent quality. Through repeated material testing and process optimization, the project team ensured that the product maintains its original physical properties and processing stability after incorporating recycled materials, enabling downstream customers to adopt the product without affecting existing usage conditions.

In addition, in accordance with ISO 14021 requirements, CGPC has established disclosure and management mechanisms for recycled content, ensuring traceability and transparency, and supporting customers in sustainability reporting and ESG disclosure.

Cross-Functional Collaboration Demonstrating Execution Capability
This project was jointly driven by the sales, production, and R&D teams. Through stages including material evaluation, process adjustment, and quality verification, the Company successfully implemented recycled materials and stabilized product performance. Close collaboration among departments enabled effective resource integration, achieving low-carbon material application while maintaining product quality.

The completion of this verification not only demonstrates the team’s capabilities in product development and process integration, but also lays a solid foundation and provides valuable experience for future low-carbon product initiatives.

Enhancing Product Competitiveness in Response to Market Demand
As international markets continue to raise requirements for recycled material usage and carbon disclosure, low-carbon materials have become a key direction in supply chain development. The completion of ISO 14021 third-party verification for CGPC’s low-carbon eco-friendly recycled tape will help downstream customers enhance product value and strengthen competitiveness in electronics, electrical, and engineering application markets.

Through material upgrades, the Company also continues to support customers in addressing future demand for sustainable products and gradually building differentiated product advantages.

Expanding Applications and Promoting Market Adoption
The low-carbon eco-friendly recycled tape developed in this project will initially be applied to insulation tape products, with gradual adoption by existing customers and markets. Through small-scale trials and validation, practical application experience will be accumulated as a basis for future expansion.

Through a steady promotion approach that balances product quality and market acceptance, CGPC aims to progressively expand the application scope of low-carbon products.
