To promote industry-academia exchange and help students better understand the challenges and transformation directions faced by the petrochemical industry amid globalization, net-zero carbon reduction, and supply chain restructuring trends, TVCM Plant Director Tsai, Ming-Kuang was invited to deliver a keynote speech at the USR Special Lecture hosted by the College of Environment and Life Sciences, Fooyin University of Science and Technology, on June 1, 2026. The topic of the lecture was “In-depth Analysis of Taiwan’s Petrochemical Industry: Globalization Challenges and Management Transformation from the Perspective of the Linyuan Industrial Park.”
The lecture focused on the development of Taiwan’s petrochemical industry and the Linyuan Industrial Park. Plant Director Tsai shared insights into the transformation pressures faced by the petrochemical industry amid changes in the global market, supply chain adjustments, geopolitical developments, and net-zero trends. From an industry practice perspective, he also explained topics such as petrochemical process optimization, responses to market changes, and management transformation, helping students gain a deeper understanding of the current status and future development of the industry.
Through this industry-academia exchange, Plant Director Tsai shared his years of accumulated industry experience with faculty members and students, with the aim of helping young talents build a better understanding of the petrochemical industry and sustainable transformation issues. Looking ahead, the Company will continue to pay attention to industry talent development and sustainable development trends, and will share practical corporate experience through industry-academia exchanges to promote the inheritance of industrial knowledge and the cultivation of sustainability talent.
