CGPC Participates in TSMC Net-Zero Transformation Kick-off Meeting to Understand Supply Chain Carbon Management Trends

To respond to international net-zero carbon reduction trends and supply chain carbon management requirements, CGPC participated in the kick-off meeting for TSMC’s 2026 “Manufacturing Sector Net-Zero Transformation Promotion Program” 1+N Carbon Management Demonstration System on June 9, 2026. Through the meeting, the Company gained a better understanding of how leading international companies are promoting supply chain carbon reduction and Scope 3 management.

The meeting covered TSMC’s Scope 3 carbon reduction strategy, supply chain carbon management requirements, energy conservation and carbon reduction, net-zero sustainability initiatives, factory carbon reduction case studies, and supply chain carbon reduction technology exchanges. Relevant government subsidy resources and industry development trends were also introduced, helping companies understand the tools and resources available for low-carbon transformation.

By participating in this kick-off meeting, CGPC further learned about supply chain expectations regarding carbon footprints, greenhouse gas reduction, and low-carbon process management. Going forward, the Company will continue to monitor supply chain net-zero requirements and integrate them with its existing energy management, greenhouse gas inventory, and carbon reduction initiatives, gradually strengthening its carbon management capabilities and enhancing its ability to respond to supply chain carbon reduction requirements and low-carbon transformation.
