In response to net-zero transition trends and international carbon management requirements, CGPC assigned personnel to participate in the “iPAS Net-Zero Carbon Planning and Management” professional training course organized by the Miaoli County Government from June 11 to 12, 2026, continuing to cultivate internal professional talent in net-zero carbon management.
The training covered key topics including international carbon management trends, response strategies for the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), ISO 14064-1 organizational greenhouse gas inventories, and ISO 14067 product carbon footprint calculation and management practices. The course helped participants build foundational capabilities in carbon inventory, carbon footprint management, and carbon reduction planning.
Upon completion of the course, participants were awarded the “iPAS Net-Zero Carbon Planning and Management Training Certificate” by the Department of Commerce and Industrial Development of the Miaoli County Government. CGPC will continue to strengthen carbon management talent development and apply relevant knowledge to daily operations, process improvement, and carbon reduction management, thereby enhancing the Company’s ability to respond to net-zero trends and supply chain carbon reduction requirements while implementing sustainable development.
