To continuously strengthen the operation of its environmental management system, CGPC conducted an external audit of its ISO 14001 Environmental Management System on June 16, 2026. The external audit reviewed the implementation of the Company’s environmental management system and served as a reference for subsequent continuous improvement.
In addition to reviewing ISO 14001-related operations, the audit team also noted that, going forward, corporate environmental management should not only meet management system requirements, but should also progressively incorporate ESG sustainability concepts and climate impact resilience assessments into the core operation of ISO 14001. This will help further align the environmental management system with sustainable development and climate change response strategies.
CGPC will refer to the recommendations from this external audit to continuously improve its environmental management practices. The Company will also gradually strengthen the connection between ESG and climate-related issues within its management system, enhance its ability to respond to environmental risks and climate change challenges, and continue to implement sustainable business practices.
