TVCM, a subsidiary of CGPC, implemented a greenhouse gas (GHG) offset project titled "Replacement of Two Cracking Furnaces (F-6201 and F-6202)" at its Linyuan Plant. On October 6, 2026, TVCM received its second issuance of GHG reduction credits from the Ministry of Environment, totaling 10,465 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e). This achievement demonstrates TVCM's continued efforts in improving production facilities and reducing GHG emissions.
The project's first application for GHG reduction credits was approved on May 3, 2022, with 3,129 metric tons of CO2e issued for the monitoring period from January 15 to December 31, 2020. The second issuance covers the monitoring period from January 1, 2021, to September 20, 2024. Both issuances were approved following third-party verification and review by the Ministry of Environment. A cumulative total of 13,594 metric tons of CO2e in GHG reduction credits has been officially deposited into TVCM's account in the GHG Reduction Credit Management System.
TVCM will continue to optimize production processes, upgrade equipment, and improve energy efficiency to implement GHG emission reduction measures and enhance its corporate sustainability performance.
